Rockstar Games’ legal team is scrambling today after a 15-second “debug” clip of Grand Theft Auto VI surfaced on Telegram. The footage focuses entirely on Lucia and confirms a brand-new “Environmental Combat” system. Unlike previous games, Lucia can now interact with the world to end fights, such as slamming car doors on enemies or using nearby objects as improvised weapons in a struggle.
The leak also highlights a “Social Camouflage” mechanic that is unique to Lucia. By initiating a conversation with a random NPC or entering a crowd, she can reportedly lower her wanted level from 3 stars to zero almost instantly. This adds a tactical layer to the “Leonida” state, allowing players to choose between Jason’s raw firepower or Lucia’s high-stakes deception.
Despite the footage being scrubbed from social media, fans have already noted that the animations look significantly more fluid than Red Dead Redemption 2. With the Take-Two earnings call set for February 3, this leak has the community convinced that a second trailer is imminent. Are you ready to master the art of “Social Camouflage,” or are you sticking with Jason’s brute force?
